Every seat is a named user licence. Buy more seats or commit for longer and the rate falls, and the two discounts combine. This is the price list: the team and site licences further down are built from it, not sold against it.

Licence notes & caveats
- All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and exclusive of GST; GST or local taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction.
- Volume and term discounts combine. The base rate is reduced by the volume discount for your user count, then by the term discount for your commitment, and rounded to the nearest $10.
- Per user rates are per named user, per year, billed annually. A multi-year term is committed for its full length and holds the rate for that period.
- The team licence is the rate card price for its user count, bought as one annual total. It is capped at 10 users; past the cap, move to per user or site licensing.
- Licences are annual subscriptions. On the Order they are issued as Individual (one named user), Enterprise (per user and team licences, at the user count on the Order), or Site, as those tiers are defined in the licence terms.
- More than 20 users, or a site licence, is quoted on request rather than published. Contact sales with your structure and user count.
- Using the application requires a valid licence and sign-in. A demonstration is available on request before purchase.

The 30% comes off the 1 year rate for your user count, and that rate cannot rise for 3 years from the start of the licence. It replaces the multi-year term discount rather than adding to it, so you hold a 1 year rate for 3 years.

Continuity clause
If Bowtie Risk Engine ceases trading, every active licence converts to a perpetual, fee-free licence you keep. It is clause 3 of the licence terms, not a promise on a web page.

Every model exports to open JSON and SVG, stored locally on your own machine. Your files are readable without this software, so they never depend on continued access to it, or on us.

Pricing questions
How do the volume and term discounts work?
They combine. Discounts are applied both in the number of users and the length of the commitment. Companies discounts are applied to the cost per user and can be viewed here. For a comprehensive quote, contact us.
What if we have more than 20 users?
We quote it. Above 20 users the right answer is usually a site licence or a negotiated agreement, and that depends on how your organisation is structured rather than a published per seat rate. Tell us your numbers.
What does the free trial include?
Three months of the full editor, control register, and performance standards on a work email, with no credit card. Two limits apply while you are on trial: exported diagrams and the register PDF carry a small "Created with Bowtie Risk Engine" mark, and the raw CSV export is reserved for paid licences. Up to five colleagues from the same organisation can trial at once; ask us if you need more seats for an evaluation.
Can we evaluate before committing?
Yes. Start the three-month free trial and prove it on your own scenarios, no credit card and no sales call required. If you would rather be walked through it first, request a demo and we will run the editor and control register against your scenarios.
What happens if our subscription lapses?
Nothing is deleted when a licence ends. You keep signing in to open and export your existing bowties for at least 30 days, and creating and editing resume the moment the licence is renewed. Your models also live on your own machine in open JSON and SVG, so they never depend on continued access.
